Festive Aperol Spritz
Contrary to popular opinion, I am a firm believer that Aperol is for all seasons. An aperol spritz is found on ski slopes in the winter just as much as by the beach during summer months. However, if you’re looking for a fun spin on a classic cocktail- this is the recipe for you!
2 ounces Aperol
3 ounces Prosecco
1 ounce cranberry juice
1 orange wedge
1 orange zest twist
1 sprig of rosemary
Pour Aperol and cranberry juice into glass with two to three cubes of ice. Position orange wedge and rosemary sprig in glass. Top up with prosecco, before garnishing with orange twist! Go forth and enjoy Aperol, regardless of the season.
- 2 large wedges of orange
- 1 rosemary sprig
- A few frozen raspberries
- Orange juice
- Put the orange, frozen raspberries, and half the rosemary into a glass. Muddle well, then fill with ice.
- Fill a quarter of the glass with orange juice and then fill the rest with lemonade.
- Garnish with any remaining ingredients as you wish and enjoy!
